Roulette Rules
Roulette rules about the game itself:
For the most part, the game is based on standard European Roulette, where
an ivory ball rolls in a spinning wheel consisting of 36 numbers and 0.
The ball randomly stops on one of the 37 numbers. Your aim is to predict
the outcome of each spin. You bet against the bank and your winnings will
be determined by how well you have predicted the ball's final resting-place.
Some actual roulette bets
Straight Bet
A chip is wagered on any single number, including zero (0), by placing
the chip directly on the number.
Split Bet
A chip is wagered on two adjacent numbers by placing the chip on the line
between the two numbers.
Street Bet
A chip is wagered on three numbers by placing the chip on the outside
line next to the selected row of three numbers. For example, to bet on
4, 5, and 6, place the chip on the outside line of the 6 box.
Corner Bet
A chip is wagered on four numbers by placing the chip on the intersection
where the four numbers meet.
Square Bet
A chip is wagered on the following numbers: 0, 1, 2 and 3 by placing the
chip on the outside line of the where 0 and 3 intersect.
Line Bet
A Line Bet covers two Street Bets (six numbers in two rows of three numbers,
for example: 4,5,6 + 7,8,9). Place the chip on the intersection of the
line running between the two selected rows and the outside line. For example,
a bet on 4,5,6 and 7,8,9 is placed at the point intersected by the line
running between 6 and 9, and the line outside 6 and 9.
Column Bet
To bet on a group of non-sequential numbers, place your chip in one of
the three boxes marked "2 to 1". This marks all twelve numbers
above the box (excluding 0).
Dozen Bet
To bet on a group of twelve sequential numbers (1-12, 13-24, 25-36), place
your chip in one of the three boxes marked "1st 12," "2nd
12," or "3rd 12." By placing your chip in one of these
boxes, you mark all twelve numbers above it.
Red/Black, Even/Odd, Low/High Bets
A bet placed in one of the boxes located on the bottom of the betting
area, is a bet that covers 18 numbers, but always excludes 0.
Winning Number Display
The winning number display (located at the top-right corner) indicates
the results of the previous 10 spins.
